Rene Hell: "Med School Prince"

Of all Rene Hell's recent synthetic ventures, this latest, almost totally live-recorded "progressively climbing lydian sprawl" has got to be the most ecstatic. "Med School Prince" is a 10-minute digitised life review, cascading at hyperspeed with Hell's signature bristling synths into one ultra-precise and futuristic type of symphony. It's real lavish, combining older Kosmiche retrospection with Sean McCann or Mark McGuire-style bright drone magnificence. --Richard MacFarlane, Rose Quartz

Mandelbrot & Skyy Live in Montreal

Daren Ho of Driphouse and Jeff Witscher of Rene Hell put out a solid LP as Mandelbrot & Skyy a few months back, and recently they've been pimping out their collab on tour for eager noise bros all around North America to enjoy. Luckily, you don't have to leave the comfort of your own home to hear their live set, as Witscher uploaded a recent live set from Montreal. The 27-minute performance kicks off with sparse electronics, but by the 16-minute mark the duo climax into an acrobatic synth spazz-out that even budding noise enthusiasts can get behind. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones via Foxy Digitalis

WARNING: Megazord notes, "this may cause seizures." You've been warned.

Zord's latest video work comes in the form of another phenomenal Rene Hell cut. The video seems to take Hell's rambling arpeggiations to heart, remixing (and rehashing) Arps as video filters. That is not a technical statement, rather a symbiotic one, more in tune to how Oldham warps visuals around Hell's free-flowing synthesis. It's a non-stop barrage of rippling images that pour through digital streets like faucet that can't seem to stop flowing. --Michael McGregor, Chocolate Bobka
