San Diego, California's Dirty Gold is '80s afro-guitar influenced project of brothers John and Lincoln Ballif. Their music sounds likes it's taken straight out of a 60's beach flick, complete with squawking seagulls, Beach House-esque guitar riffs, and plenty of warmth. Even though duo have yet to graduate high school, they've already got an EP coming out soon. Check out the drum-heavy, early morning "California Sunrise" to get a taste for the upcoming EP, Hidden Treasures, and be sure to watch the beach-themed video by Panaframe.
