After getting attention from Impose, Stereogum, even Dad, Danielle Johnson, aka Computer Magic, is coming out with her first proper release next month on White Iris. The Computer Magic 12" is made up of re-recordings of her earlier solo synth demos Johnson made on her laptop, which you can hear on her Soundcloud. The standout, "Found Out," is a soaring synthpop song whose climbing chorus could very well whisk you away to the moon. But watch out, you may never want to come back. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
