[Ariel Pink at the Rock & Roll Circus, New York, New York; January 2011 by Joe Perez]
Fact Magazine reports that Paw Tracks will be repressing classic Ariel Pink albums The Doldrums and House Arrest on LP. Discovered by Animal Collective in on a west coast tour, Pink started to record handmade CD-R Doldrums as early as 2001 with a stripped-down setup using just an 8-track, guitar, keyboard, and his voice. House Arrest, first released in 2002 and re-released by Paw Tracks in 2006, would go on to become a classic hypnagogic pop record, its traces heard in the work of James Ferraro and Ducktails. Take a trip back in time and listen to the one of our favorites:

The Doldrums and House Arrest will see LP release from Paw Tracks later this month
