We're totally stoked that Julian Lynch announced the follow up to one of our top albums of last year, Mare. Hailling from Ridgewood, NJ, Lynch is an OG from the town that birthed Ducktails, Real Estate, Family Portrait, and Titus Andronicus, all of whom Lynch has jammed with. But unlike his Ridgewood brethren, the native hasn't tied himself down to the the tri-state area. Instead, Lynch hung out in Scotland with Underwater Peoples' Sad City, worked for Smithsonian Folkways in DC, and continued to pursue a double PhD in Ethnomusicology and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin.
