Really enamoured with this ghostly, fraught blowtorch ballad by Manchester's Meke Menete. Desolately sad and barren but still totally soulful, it mines the same kind of ambiguous emotional territory that city-mates Wu Lyf conjure. The brutal, shrill screams that pierce the song's delicate ambience towards the end falling somewhere between anguish and triumph beautifully. (via Transparent)
