Christian AIDS: "Fever"

Really buzzed on the bleakly beautiful, brutalist highrise structures of Manchester's shadowy Christian AIDS crew since they sent over a few skyscraping bangers earlier in the week. "Fever" is song that starts out as tense and unsettling as any we've heard in a good minute, with those familiar dismebodied dancefloor-diva wails imitated by a lone lunatic howling hurt in some grim multi-story carpark setting. It's pretty oppressive stuff, but eventually the doom gives way to rapture when a brilliantly desperate war cry of "Set Me Free" launches the song into pure four-to-the-floor delirum; storm cloud burst, ecstasy raining from the heavens.
