When M.C. Schmidt and Drew Daniel of famed Baltimore electronic duo Matmos touched down in Asheville, North Carolina last October for Moogfest, they ended up popping over to Echo Mountain to record a session with the Daytrotter team. The heaving, minutely textured two-part recording, which includes a contribution from longtime composer friend Dan Deacon, went live on the Daytrotter website this morning. Listen and read more here.
