Last Friday saw the unveiling of Perfect Wave, an interactive e-magazine edited by Future Shuttle member and Arthur Radio co-founder Camilla Padgitt-Coles out of a secret, subterranean location in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Founded in collaboration with Arthur Magazine's Will Swofford Cameron, Perfect Wave features interviews, essays, audio and video from a host of outer limits cultural figures, and is hosted on Cameron's new Greener Mags publishing platform, which allows users to scroll content from left to right, and disseminate articles as embeddable modules. Highlights of the Winter/Spring 2011 issue include features on light artist Tony Martin, avant-garde turntablist Maria Chavez, and Belgrade improv guitar player WoO, in addition to an essay on minimalist composer Rhys Chatham by Altered Zones co-editor Emilie Friedlander.
