Altered Zones

Wise Blood is the project of Pittsburgh's Christopher Laufman. His first release, ` + `, has four tracks brimming with thundering drums and claps, all of which feel a bit scratchy. A dusty, old organ leads into "B.I.G. E.G.O." and remains under Laufman's light, quick-moving vocals. The track closes with a perfectly blended sample, proving it is no exception to his unique sound. The EP is available for free on his bandcamp, and he's readying another EP for August 16 to back the non-album track, "2 All the Girls Who Have Trusted Me."
