I'm not too keen on Mariah Carey a lot of the time, but her vocal ability is always stunning. On this track Asura samples an array of Mariah's beautiful pitches on top of a dance beat that would fit right in on Yoshi's Story, making this one hard to take off repeat. The track comes from the Pop Massacre compilation from Friend of Friends, in which various producers were asked to "choose a song from any era of popular culture to be source material of a song." Pop Massacre also features tracks from Daedelus, Shlohmo, and DNTEL remixing Prince, Soulja Boy and Lady GaGa respectively, amongst others. (Get Off The Coast co-premiere)
