Nightsatan: "Ninja Apocalypse"

A couple of weeks ago Visitation Rites turned us on to Nightsatan, who describe themselves as both a cinematic synth orchestra and laser metal. "Ninja Apocalypse" is a lengthy, dwelling epic that plays out much like one of the '80s horror films that inspires the trio. The first half is shrouded in a thick fog as it builds up slowly while letting you know something awful is certainly afoot. The second half may just win a VMA for most epic battle sequence, assuming my vision of ninjas battling zombies is correct. (via Get Off The Coast)

Midnight Laser Warrior is available now via Solina Records (vinyl lovers will have to wait until Spring, but it's worth it)
