Diamond Messages is the solo work of Jason Craig, who recently revived the once-duet to release a four-song EP, Smoke & Mirrors, on Spontaneous Rhythm. “Liquid Summer” is the pinnacle of that release-- a twinkling white dwarf, its fuel long since exhausted, shining on as a brilliant diamond in the night sky. Its video, like that of Summer Camp's "Round the Moon", samples footage from the 1970's film A Swedish Love Story, but with quick cuts and different scenes entirely.
