The Laze: "Run into Space" (Bronnt Industries Kapital remix)

Prog acolytes The Laze have lovingly curated their own remix EP, which reinterprets every track from their as-yet unreleased Spacetime Fabric Conditioner LP. The appropriately named Umdeutung Continuumb features this remix from cohort Bronnt Industries Kapital-- aka UK producer and multi-instrumentalist G Bartell.

Bartell takes the source material’s crypto-medieval riff, convinces '80s videogame licensing demons Ocean to build a "Run into Space" game, then delivers the best loading screen interpretation you can imagine (over colour-clashing 8-bit graphics, of course). Finally, moonlighting as an under-appreciated composer for z-grade '80s horror, he rips himself off with a title sequence kick/snare stomp through laser-flecked cityscapes and airbrushed psedo-3D credits.
