Following May's New Slaves LP, the ever-protean Brooklyn avant-rock collective Zs just announced a companion album of remixes by an all-star cast of underground associates. As Thee Majesty (Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and Bryin Dall), JG Thirlwell (Foetus), Zebrablood (Excepter), Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers), Ecstatic Sunshine, and others rework material from the double LP, Zs return the favor with a side-long master mix culling from the entirety of this reprocessed material. Below, The Rapture's Gabe Andruzzi "implodes the essence" of the song "Acres", demonstrating that Zs' tightly rhythmic constructions are really just a hop, a skip, and a bump away from the dance floor.
