SPORTS: "To Catch a Thief"

A few days ago, after finally finding some time to leaf through my inbox, I stumbled across a kind message from a little trio named SPORTS and their debut single, “To Catch a Thief.” They’re based out of Seattle, Washington, where the rainy days are leaving them plenty of time to be creative. They’ve got a refreshing, crisp sound, not to mention some great artwork to boot. There’s some resemblance to Wolf Parade/Sunset Rubdown vocalist Spencer Krug in both “To Catch a Thief” as well as in the latest version of “Prizefighter", but that’s certainly not a bad thing. It's refreshing to see an electronic band like SPORTS who doesn't rely solely on their synths to carry songs. (via The Road Goes Ever On)
