Somewhere in Tucson, Arizona lies Sutcliffe Catering Co., the dorm room project of Michael Hayes. His sound is crisp and echo-laden, with shouts that seem to beseech something far-off or long-gone. His sole release, the 4-song Ponderosa White EP, comes embellished with cymbals and shakers, lending to the growing cold. There’s no news on a physical release yet, but it looks like Lefse's new imprint, Way Slow Tapes, will be putting out a full-length in the future. (via The Road Goes Ever On)
