Native San Franciscans Antaeus Roy and Bryant Rutledge likely spent hours playing Sega Genesis preparing to write songs for their electro-crunk project Lazer Sword. "I'm Gone (Rustie Remix)" sets the epic tone right off the bat with rapid-fire arpeggios, quickly dissolving over a disorienting, yet infectious beat. Their upcoming self-titled debut will feature cameos with M. Sayyid, Turf Talk, and Zackey Force Funk. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
