Altered Zones

This summer, Memoryhouse stopped by the SUB SF to cut and paste the latest chapter of Yours Truly's "In my Room" series into the scattered scrapbooks of recollection. The chummy ivory melody swimming under Evan's fingertips recalls the familiar pitch of an old but indelible friend-- too dear to dismiss, and too distant to discern without search. And when it lays layered alongside Denise's astral vocal, it's like looking into the past through a magnifying glass: crystal in the center and fuzzy round the perimeter, like all the best My Bloody Valentine songs.
