Altered Zones

The dreamy pop of Ice Cream Shout floats to our ears from Kansai, Japan. They’ve already made some rounds with the soft vocals and gentle guitar plucking of their latest single, "Tattooed Tears," taken off their currently untitled, upcoming second full-length. It's a departure from their debut album, Cups, which saw the implementation of more traditional, folk-inspired elements and less electronic instrumentation. The most significant change, though, is the switch from a female to male vocalist, which could very well be a "Tattooed Tears" exclusive. We'll have to wait for more material to be released to find out, but in the meantime check out the video for "Tattooed Tears" below and download/stream Cups standout "Marianne" right here.
