Simon and Josh Frank, the fraternal duo of post-punk outfit Hot & Cold, sure know their way around a bassline. They'll build up that minimal drum machine pop, lay down some scuzzy synth lines, and spit their shit like no one's listening. Guys, we're listening, and we think you're Rev and Vega incarnate. After being picked up by Beijing's Rose Mansion Analog, their Conculsion/Introduction tape is being put out stateside by our good friend Shawn Reed, because the man knows it deserves a wider audience. --Ian Pearson, Altered Zones
