The shimmering melody, slow-charge riffage, unprocessed percussion, and winding vocals of Dive’s sound on their lead single “Sometime” lies closer to creator Cole Smith’s main gig, Beach Fossils, and Virginia’s Wild Nothing. But in this live clip captured by grossymmetric at Brooklyn's 285 Kent, the sonic elements are more distinguishable and captivating, separated from their emulsified state on the 7" recording. --Mark Craig, Altered Zones
