House music pioneers Trax Records will be releasing a two-disc retrospective to celebrate their 25th anniversary in October. In addition to compiling a slew of their classic records, Trax Records: The 25th Anniversary Collection will also include a documentary about the history of Trax Records and Chicago's early house days entitled "The House That Trax Built." Directed by label president "Screamin'" Rachael Cain, the film gives an insider's view of the action, featuring legends Frankie Knuckles, Afrika Bambaataa, Michael Alig, and Marshall Jefferson among other notable figures.
