Keijo: "White Woman Blues"

Prolific Finnish free-folk hero Keijo Virtanen is a known traveling man. He traverses spacetime on a motorcycle, transgresses its laws, and brings back with him the richly traditional sounds of the Deep South, making them his along the way. Here, multi-tracked blues guitar and the howls of voice and harmonica dance about each other to the most basic of rhythms. Left with no room to breathe, we're drowned in his age-old woes. --Ian Pearson, Altered Zones
