Amidst the red-hot hyperactivity of Azari & III's "Manic" is a fusion of two worlds. The bubbling acid bass, metallic washes of synthesized noise, and hypnotic loops of diva-ish croons hark back to a classic house mentality. However, those touches never infringe on the disturbing, but extremely catchy vocals that take it out of the club and ultimately make this a pop song (an amazing one at that). In the end, something fresh and extremely danceable emerges. --Matt Sullivan, Altered Zones
