Stag Hare: "Lavender Ravens Tears"

It's a rare occurrence (for myself, at least) to let go and celebrate life for life's sake, but such celebrations are infinite within the 45 minutes of Stag Hare's Spirit Canoes. His are the sounds of crystalline healing, consciousness expansion, photosynthesis for the soul. The pulsing percussive elements and hushed chants guarantee us an accomplished piece of New Age. Below, Stag Hare writes about the album's final track:

"Lavender Ravens Tears is the last in a series of spells which were handcrafted for human ears. Each spell stands on its own, but in series they build a larger spell. The lyrics on that track are the words that seal the spell, an incantation bringing you back into your body and rooted onto the ground and saying hey, here we are in this world, make yourself at home, cuz it's not going anywhere and neither are you." --Ian Pearson, Altered Zones
