Grouper and Inca Ore are re-issuing their ultra rare cassette for the second time. The evocative, highly sought after split was recorded in adverse but inspiring conditions-- Grouper's during a "rain-heavy winter" and Inca Ore's on a "somewhat nightmarish journey taken through Mexico." The release is receiving a visual and sonic makeover, sporting new black and white artwork and remastered for vinyl, so you can say "smell ya later" to that ridiculously loud tape hiss and coo a seductive "hello" to a crisper, clearer lo-fi. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
