L.A.-based noisemaker Sean McCann and the purveyor of the Ekhein label, Matthew Sullivan, who's put out releases from Jeff Witscher (as Rene Hell, Secret Abuse), Driphouse, and more recently Greg Davis, are collaborating on an album due next fall. Friends for a while and roomies just recently (fun!!), the duo recorded this first collab at their Los Angeles home this summer, setting out to explore their "shared appreciation for more abstract sounds. tape music, plunderphonics, minimalism, etc." But don't take their word for it-- check out the teaser above. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
