Remember the campy glory days of old school public access TV? The rad folks at Williamsburg-based Louis V E.S.P. do, and pay homage through their cable access and live taping event, E.S.P. TV. The latest episode features Brooklyn's Innergaze, whose live renditions of "Midnight Riding" and "Change it Up" come with green-screened vortexes of mixed video psychedelia and cheesy, VHS-quality sheen. The episode aired on June 28th, but you can stream the whole thing on Youtube. It really has to be seen to be believed. The Innergaze jams book-end two wild skits: a Picasso-stylized face singing a coming-of-age ballad to a young woman merely trying to clean her pores, and a charmingly aloof karaoke rendition of Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing," sung into a banana.
