Vitamins never fail to wow me with their videos, and this clip for "The Disappearance of David Lee Powell" is no exception. The song, featured as the b-side for the band's No Notion of Anything Only Whatever Is What 7" on Hot Congress Records, is the story of a man in Texas who was on death row for 32 years after being prosecuted for murder. Powell was just put to death in June of last year. The band was given a DVD telling the tragic story at the 2010 SXSW, so it's probably no coincidence that the footage Rachel Evans used for the video is from her own trip to the festival this year. --Jheri Evans, Get Off The Coast
