Last week, Tender Age unveiled a remix of Beat Connection's "In The Water" from Clive Tanaka and one of the enigmatic, emerging members of his "orquesta," Tender:Glove, and we're following it up this week with a new Balearic beat mix by Jamie Blanco. In contrast to their romantic, downtempo approach to the song, Blanco specifically cites the "bass line," as well as "steal drums, vocal and atmospheric samples..." as his focus, preserving a more gregarious sort of ecstatic romanticism, complete with some old school house and techno flourishes. --Dwight Pavlovic, Get Off The Coast
