Bad Sports: "Teenage Girls"

It's hard for me to introduce Bad Sports without mentioning the late-night Summer parties I've seen this band play in their home of Denton, TX. For years they've upheld the punk mindset in this largely college student-populated city. In their latest 2-minute blast, "Teenage Girls," Bad Sports sling their snotty, pre-'78 style protopunk to the masses, breaking the (sorta) three-chord punk for which they've predominantly been known for with a clap-and-dance approach. This song is destined for a Dirtnap Records full length, tentatively schedule for a Summer release.--Ryan Ellis, Weekly Tape Deck
