Dublab recently posted a 25-minute "Sprout Session" with White Magic's Mira Billote. The video features a minimal but arresting solo performance consisting of just vocals and percussion, plus an interview with Dublab about White Magic's many collaborators (Tim Dewitt, "Sleepy" Doug Shaw, and Jesse Lee of Gang Gang Dance, also Tim Koh of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti), her record Dat Rosa Mel Apibus on Drag City, and teases some info about her 7", to be released on her own label called The Mysteries. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
