A little over a month ago our pal Chris at Gorilla vs Bear premiered the woozy, heart wrenching track that is Sleep Over's "Casual Diamond". It's a brilliant peak at the upcoming debut LP, set to drop this August via Hippos In Tanks. Now Elon Katz of White Car has taken the track and given it not just one, but two elegant new spins. The first, labeled the "Tesseract Remix," is covered in the same fog as the original, with glitchy alien whirs and blips tossed in at almost improper moments. It's as if the listener is being called out for eaves dropping on an intimate moment. The second mix, amusingly labeled "Elon's Other Remix," takes a much more ambient approach, allowing swells of synth to build the track around Stefani's vocals as if they belonged in a dense forest the entire time.
