Youth Lagoon, the project of one Trevor Powers, has been making the rounds lately and garnering comparisons to the likes of Perfume Genius. Two gems from his debut full-length, The Year Of Hibernation, below. On the upbeat side, we've got "Cannons," a Rhodes-laden hip-tripper that showcases the Boise, ID native's delicate croon. “July,” by contrast, is all bittersweetness and soul.
