Altered Zones x Neon Marshmallow Fest

Last summer, Daniel Smith of Neon Blossom Records and Matt Kimmel of the video blog Acid Marshmallow curated the Neon Marshmallow Music Festival. With a line-up that included Keith Fullerton Whitman, Emeralds, Julian Lynch, Dolphins Into The Future, Excepter, and more than 100 others, it was a blistering four days of experimental music from all over the world.

This year, Altered Zones is proud to announce that we'll be teaming up for the second annual Neon Mashmallow Music Festival at Chicago's Empty Bottle from June 10-12th.

NM2011 will feature artists from across the spectrum, including electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, as well as Oneohtrix Point Never, Lucky Dragons, Pelt, Bill Orcutt (ex-Harry Pussy), White Rainbow, Outer Space (John Elliot of Emeralds), Rene Hell, Dylan Ettinger, and others that we've yet to announce. Artists will be staggered across two stages, so noise superfans won't miss a thing. --Ric Leichtung, Altered Zones
