Channel Pressure, the first full-length effort from "futuristic production team" Ford & Lopatin (formerly known as Games), drops June 7th on the duo's new Mexican Summer production imprint, Software. According to Pitchfork, the album will be mixed by Prefuse 73, and based loosely on the concept of "a teenage anti-hero [Joey Rogers], violent robo-jocks, and a record industry run by a super computer." Peep the album art above, and the straightfaced '80s kitsch of album single, "Emergency Room," below. Dad just posted some tourdates. --Emilie Friedlander, Altered Zones
