The dearly departed The Road Goes Ever On hipped us to Dawn Golden and Rosy Cross last year, when 24-year-old Chicago producer Dexter Tortoriello uploaded an EP of 6 damaged electro-pop songs to his SoundCloud. Altered Zones received word last week that Blow will soon see physical release on Diplo's Mad Decent imprint, bringing the wonky synths, crunchy drum machines, and orchestral swells of cuts like "Blacks," below, to a larger audience than he might have ever imagined. --Emilie Friedlander, Altered Zones
MP3: Dawn Golden + Rosie Cross: "Blacks"
Blow EP is out April 12th on Mad Decent
