First, we heard news that Ponytail had not broken up, and would instead be releasing a new LP titled Do Whatever You Want All the Time. Then we watced the wonderful album teaser, which only heightened our anticipation. Finally, just as our expectations were reaching fever pitch, the Baltimore art-rcokers have been nice enough to release both the opening track to the album, "Easy Peasy", and a video to accompany it. The clip features the band playing live at Coney Island, but director Ray Concepcion has cleverly taken the typical concert-going experience and warped nearly everything about it. Except how awesome Ponytail still sound. --Daniel Gottlieb, Altered Zones
Ponytail's Do Whatever You Want All the Time is out April 12 via We Are Free.
